March Update

Hello All!

Our March luncheon at the Road Kill Saloon in McLeod was a lot of fun. The Proprietor, Holly, kept us entertained with stories of renovating the building. The food was great (especially the Philly Cheesesteak sandwiches)! We had a small birthday celebration for Tobe Green with cupcakes after lunch.

Our first camp-out will be April 24th-26th at the Grey Bear fishing access campground west of Big Timber. This is a “Buddy Rally”, so you can invite your friends who aren’t members with any kind of trailer. The directions and info can be found in the March Newsletter found on this site.

February Update

Hello All “Streamers!

February has really been unusual here in Montana. We’ve been experiencing warmer than normal temperatures that are more reminiscent of Spring! Highs in the 60’s are crazy?

Our Winter Luncheon at the Northern Pacific Beanery in Livingston was fun. My thanks to all that were able to attend. Our next Luncheon will be March 14, 2015 in McLeod, MT at the Road Kill Café, 1557 East Boulder Road – 12:00pm. Hope to see you there!

November Update

Hello All “Streamers!

I apologize for not updating the site for awhile. It was hunting season here in Montana and I was busy trying to put meat in the freezer. A new newsletter has been published and can be viewed on this site. With the installation of a new president for our unit, my wife Teri, you can expect to see some new venues for our rallies. Teri and I will be working hard to have our rallies in some areas that haven’t been visited for awhile. It will be an exciting time in the next 2 years. Also, there is a luncheon planned for Dec. 6th at 11:30 am at the Olive Garden in Bozeman. If you plan to attend, please notify either Teri or I by the 3rd of December so we can adjust our reservations.

Try to keep warm and “Keep ‘Streaming”.

September Update

Hello fellow Airstreamers!

The Hands Across the Border Rally was a great success with 29 trailers attending. The tours of the AVMAX Center and Charlie Russell Museum in Great Falls were great. We were also able to raise $284 for the Wounded Warrior Project through a raffle. With the 2014 camping season winding down, I’d like to wish everyone safe travels if you’re “fleeing” the Winter.

August 2014 Update

Hello fellow “Streamers!

The Region 10 Rally in Astoria, Oregon was a lot of fun! The weather was great barring a few showers and the temperature was ideal. The Montana unit is getting ready to host the “Hands Across the Border” Rally in Great Falls over the Labor Day weekend. This is a “buddy rally” so SOB’s (some other brand) and friends are welcome to come. If you plan to attend, make sure to contact Tobe Green (RTobeG@bresnan.net) ASAP so we can plan for the food and activities ! Hope to see you there!

July 2014 Update

Hello fellow Airstreamers!

With the International Rally behind us, we can concentrate on the Region 10 Rally in Astoria, Oregon. I’ve heard there will be 83 trailers attending from all over Region 10. We will be caravanning to Astoria starting this coming Sunday, the 13th. It looks to be a good time.

Anyone interested in attending the Hands Across the Border Rally in Great Falls needs to contact Tobe Green so a head count can be made. All the info is in this months newsletter posted on this site.

Until next month, Keep Streaming!

June 2014 Update

Hello Airstreamers!

Our Spring Travelling Rally from Plains to Eureka Montana was a great success! The weather was fantastic. We stayed at the fairgrounds in Plains for one night and then travelled to Libby, Montana for the next two nights. Along the way, we stopped at the Ross Cedar Grove which is an ancient stand of huge cedar trees. After getting set up in Libby, we toured the Libby Dam on the Kootenai River.

The next day, we drove to Yaak, Montana for the “Yaak Attack” having lunch at the World Famous Dirty Shame Saloon. The food was great and everyone had a good time. We also went to the “Swinging Bridge and Falls” on the Kootenai River. Our last night was spent in Eureka, Montana dry camping.

Pictures from our trip can be viewed in the Gallery Page. There were seven trailers and one SOB (friends of Ron and Tobe,s) since this was a Buddy Rally.

See you next month, Mike
